Discover ‘Made-in-Pakistan’

PakistanCreates is an online marketplace where you will discover unique and creative items made by talented Pakistanis. It is a unified platform to promote Made-in-Pakistan, Manufactured-in-Pakistan, and Produced-in-Pakistan products. “The platform is going to support talented local makers, small and large businesses, women-led businesses, and anyone who makes or builds quality products in Pakistan. There is so much untapped talent in Pakistan that just needs some investment and support”, says Mahe Zehra Husain, CEO FiveRivers Technologies and Founder of PakistanCreates.

She added, “Women are about 48% of Pakistan’s population. The motivation behind this project is to empower and facilitate this huge community, most specifically women belonging to remote and rural areas.” She said, “I have felt over the years that women are remarkably talented but are mostly held back either due to lack of resources or familial responsibilities. PakistanCreates would enable small-scale women-led businesses to move forward without worrying about investments in online store creation or advertisements.”

Mahe Zehra said, “In addition to the platform we are planning to conduct online and in-person training programs to educate women belonging to both rural and urban backgrounds to help them manage their online stores on PakistanCreates. The website is developed from the perspective of ease of use to make it easy for women to operate and manage their orders.”
